Product Description
Fire ants are smaller than carpenter ants and vary in size, ranging in from 1/16 to 1/4 inch long. They are yellow to dark red-brown. These ants usually nest in the ground but can set up a nest inside your walls or other voids. For some reason they are attracted to electrical junction boxes near the ground. Air conditioning units and cable TV boxes are good places to look. In the open field or yard they build large mounds and also use the typical ant hiding places, under debris, rocks and foundation voids.
Nest usually require several treatments, especially if you are treating a large colony.
